    Oregon State University

    Rajat Panwar (he/his/him) is a Professor of Sustainable and Responsible Business at Oregon State University, USA where he is also the Director of the Sustainable Natural Resources program.. A native of India, Rajat came to the US as a graduate student and did discover IABS in 2008. He has since been its active member. Rajat co-led the IABS-India initiative that enhanced the association's visibility in that country. Rajat publishes his work in both academic journals and practitioners- oriented outlets. His ongoing research focuses on business and biodiversity, corporate transparency, and deforestation and global value-chains. Rajat is a Deputy Editor of Business & Society.

    Abel Diaz Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Organization, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the School of Business Economics, Maastricht University (UM). He holds a PhD in Business Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB). His research focuses on ecosystems for social entrepreneurs, and their supportive function and mechanisms. Part of his research is dedicated to investigating the supportive role and interaction of universities’ main stakeholders, processes, and activities within and across the ecosystems of social entrepreneurs. Abel has conducted field research in Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, and Belgium.

    Abel is currently Associate Editor in Business and Society Review and has acted as a reviewer at various conferences and for journals. He is involved in special issues in peer review journals and has acted as editor of book series in the field of Social Entrepreneurship. Abel is also part of the leadership of the New Business Models conference series and co-funder of the Social Entrepreneurship Summit. In 2025, Abel chaired the 36th IABS Conference In Maastricht, with more than 280 attendees from 40+ different countries.

    The University of Rhode Island, College of Business

    Jegoo Lee is currently an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Rhode Island. Previously, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Management and Ethics in the Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College, and Assistant Professor of Management in the Muma College of Business at University of South Florida. His research combines moral and empirical approaches at the intersection of corporate responsibility, human-centered sustainability, and alternative organizing, especially applying a social network lens. His research work appears in Academy of Management Learning & Education, Business & Society, Business Strategy and the Environment, and MIT Sloan Management Review, among others. One of his papers was recognized as Runner-up for 2024 IABS Best Published Paper Award.  He also won the Best Dissertation Award from the Society for Business Ethics, and was nominated the finalist for the Best Dissertation Award by the Academy of Management’s Social Issues in Management. Currently he is serving as an Associate Editor for Business & Society, the IABS-affiliated journal, and as a Program Chair for the Academy of Management’s Social Issues in Management (SIM) Division.

    As someone who has worked across Asia, Europe, and North America, and lived in seven U.S. states, he is invested in IABS’s international and diverse atmosphere. In addition, he is eager to facilitate various approaches and interests among IABS colleagues at different stages, i.e., nascent and experienced scholars’ careers.

    Warwick Business School, University of Warwick

    Fred Dahlmann is Associate Professor of Strategy & Sustainability at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, UK. Fred’s research investigates the role of organizational strategies, managerial practices, business models, policies and governance systems as well as individual mindsets in supporting a sustainability transformation. 

    Fred is Associate Editor at the journal Business & Society  as well as a member of the editorial review boards of Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics and Organization & Environment. Fred is also a Senior Research Fellow of the Earth System Governance network, and co-convenor of the Taskforce on Governance of Nature and Biodiversity. 

    Fred holds a BSc Construction Engineering Management (Loughborough University), MSc Management (University of Bath), and PhD Management (University of Bath). Prior to joining WBS, he also gained professional experience in the construction sector and worked as an energy analyst in London.

    Tampere University, Faculty of Management and Business

    Johanna Kujala (D.Sc.), a Professor (Management and Organizations) and Vice Dean for Research at Tampere University, Faculty of Management and Business where she leads the RESPMAN Responsible Management Research Group conducting research on the relationships between business, society and nature. She has led several research projects funded by the Research Council of Finland focusing on stakeholder theory and engagement especially in business-nature relationships and in contexts such as circular economy and biodiversity protection. These projects have led to IABS Best Published Paper Award and Journal of Business Ethics Philosophy in Practice Best Paper Award, as well as publications in journals such as Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics and European Journal of Innovation Management, among others. Johanna is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Business Ethics, and she has also served as an associate editor for the SIM division at the AOM for several years.

     Johanna has participated and contributed to IABS since the 1997 conference in San Destin, Florida, and she was responsible for the local arrangements of the 2008 conference in Tampere, Finland. She has an extensive experience in organizing academic events such as the yearly Responsible Business Research Conference (RBRC). She lives in Tampere, the Sauna Capital of the world, where she enjoys (ice) swimming daily.
