IABS 2012 Banquet
Entertainment for the IABS 2012 banquet will be provided by 7-time Grammy nominee, singer/songwriter John McCutcheon. "He has an uncanny ability to breathe new life into the familiar.
His storytelling has the richness of fine literature," says the Washington Post, referring to John as a
"rustic renaissance man." To Johnny Cash he was "the most impressive instrumentalist I've ever heard." Drawn by the misson of IABS, John agreed to give a concert/lecture on the theme of this years conference, Personal Responsibility for Improving Society. This is an event not to be missed.
Band and Caller for Opening Social
The Dancing Bears, a traditional music band based in Asheville, accompanied by square/contra dance caller Barbara Grogh, will be featured at the IABS opening social on Thursday, June 14 from 6-8pm. Join in the fun!
