Today we mourn the passing of one of our dearest colleagues – Ann Buchholtz. Ann, to many of us, played multiple roles – a friend, colleague, co-author, reviewer, Editorial Board member, mentor, and fellow committee member. The many ways in which we individually – and collectively – know Ann is a testament to her generous nature. Our thoughts go out to Ann’s brother and family. We will work with SIM to honour Ann’s legacy. Ann, we honour you and everything you stood for and worked towards. We will miss you. Rest in peace.
Welcome to the International Association for Business and Society

IABS is a learned society devoted to research and teaching about the relationships between business, government and society. We focus on developmental, not yet fully matured work, and we facilitate contacts between emerging scholars and established thought leaders in the field. Our over 300 members hail from more than more than 20 countries; in addition to academics from more than 100 universities, members also include employees of corporations and non-profit organizations. Our annual conferences have been held throughout the U.S., as well as in Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, and other countries.

IABS sponsors Business & Society, the only peer-reviewed scholarly journal devoted entirely to research, discussion, and analysis on the relationship between business and society. Active calls for papers for special issues can be found at the journal home page and also under Conference (Call for Proposals) tab of this IABS homepage.
